Design Narrative

The design concept for the ASU Health Services Building envisions an inviting place for students that create a sense of wellness and health within an efficient, functional and timeless design that reinforces the campus fabric and compliments the historic core of ASU’s Tempe campus.

The proposed Floor Plan represents a departure from the universities original thinking about building phasing and expansion. Our concept is to demolish the oldest and smaller one story portion of the existing building and develop a new two-story structure to house the clinical programs of the Health Center. Administrative, Support, X-ray & Lab as well as Complementary Medicine will infill or remain within this existing space. ... download the entire document »
