Pendergast Elementary School District Maintenance and Transportation Building
The building is located on a 4.5-acre parcel. A master plan was developed for the entire project to be constructed in two phases. Phase One was the Maintenance and Transportation/Warehouse Building, Phase Two was a Support Service Center, and Phase Three was additional office spaces. Phase One and Two have been completed.
The Phase One, Maintenance/Transportation Facility is approx 20,000 SF, which included shops, maintenance bay, paint shop, storage and work space. The Transportation Department includes two bus maintenance bays, drivers lounge/restrooms, storage, dispatch and offices. The Warehouse Facility includes dry storage, freezer, warehouse and offices. The facility also has parking space for 40 buses.
Phase Two Support Service Center is approx 40,000 SF. The building is designed around a central courtyard which is used for multiple outdoor programs. The Support Service Center has a conference center, kitchen/cafeteria, and academic and pupil service offices, as well as a daycare facility on site.
