State Veterans’ Homes residents require some of the highest level of care among our Senior Living design portfolio. As such, we remain mindful and attentive to those unique needs that these residents require. Simultaneously, we are also focused on the demands and needs of the staff who care for our nation’s heroes. Providing soothing and nurturing spaces for staff to thrive and support the residents is key to provide the highest quality of care. Ensuring residents and staff have ample access to well designed spaces, plentiful daylight and views along with connectivity to nature and the outdoors, is key in our design philosophy.

Creating empathetic environments for respected Veterans our commitment to caring for seniors encompasses a profound respect for the veterans under our service. We embrace a mission-based approach in designing compassionate spaces for veterans’ homes. Whether it’s private for-profit, private not-for-profit, public, or veteran-specific facilities, our focus remains on creating dignified and caring environments. Most of our State Veterans’ Home designs also include Rehabilitation programs providing physical, occupational and speech activities to help residents regain their independence and maintain dignity, which is their most valuable trait. Our design approach includes clustering small group of resident rooms around communal area such as a great room, dining area, household kitchen and outdoor garden/courtyard. Our thoughtful design fosters a sense of community, respect, and comfort for veterans, allowing them to feel valued and cherished throughout their stay.
