Nashville Park(ing) Day 2017

Turning Parking Spaces into Places for People

Our Nashville Studio accepted the challenge and transformed downtown parking spaces into an interactive hang out. Using recyled architecture plans to create a shade canopy and chalkboards to engage the crowd, our parket attracted locals and visitors alike. Hands down, the Herman Miller Magis Spun Chair was the crowd favorite—who wouldn't want to stop and take a spin?

The mission of PARK(ing) Day is to call attention to the need for more urban open space, to generate critical debate around how public space is created and allocated, and to improve the quality of urban human habitat… at least until the meter runs out! That's a mission we can get behind.

Nashville, we'll meet you downtown for Park(ing) Day 2018!
