Patient experience was the primary design driver in this 35,000 SF facility that's true product is "life." The lines and shapes that form the central core of the Reproductive Medical Institute are a metaphor of the journey of life itself. A cylinder in the central courtyard allows light to flow naturally into the space, filling it with a burst of enthusiasm that brings the natural elements from outside into safe and secure spaces that are the starting point in the formation of new growth.
A marriage of science and the human experience, converge at RMI to emphasize creation. Science is evident through the rigid and modern lines of the architecture and humanism translates through natural elements such as water, wood and quartz used throughout both the social and clinical spaces. Each material contributes in providing the ultimate comfort in an "experiential" holistic environment.
