Prasada Master Plan
Located on 160 acres close to the base of the White Tank Mountains at the future 303 interchange and Greenway Road, the PRASADA Medical Campus represents a unique opportunity to maximize the potential of a Greenfield site. The goal of this study was to create a design that would become an area destination medical campus and employment district within the City of Surprise.
Building on the notion of creating a true medical campus the master plan sought to achieve a sense of Arrival, Place, Order, Safety and Identity. Pedestrian intensive buildings such as Medical Office Buildings with a close relationship with the Hospital were centered on the community parkway / green space. This area was not only a visual amenity but a functional one as well. It was used as common retention space for the development. By maximizing density, more than 7 million square feet of building area was realized.
