In an effort to develop opportunities at its Toka Sticks Golf Course, located at the entrance to the Williams Gateway Airport and ASU East Campus, Gila River Indian Community sought to capitalize on this assets prime location. By collaborating as a team, Orcutt | Winslow took the lead of brainstorming what complementary uses would enhance the Toka Sticks Golf Course experience. Upon identifying possible developments, an Economic Consultant researched the financial opportunities that these complementary uses offered, arriving at the uses that best fit the Toka Sticks and the Williams Gateway area. Orcutt | Winslow then worked with the various user groups to develop programs, costs and concept drawings to illustrate the solution to the Tribal Council.
