Emerging Professional I
To be considered for the Emerging Professional I position, a candidate shall meet the following minimum qualifications:
Qualifications
- An accredited Bachelor’s degree, preferably Master’s degree in architecture, interior design, or related field, on a path towards licensure completing AXP hours, or certification and up to 1-2 years of experience [or]
- A non-accredited degree in architecture, interior design, or other field, or no college degree but on a path towards satisfying state licensure, or certification requirements and 4 years of experience
- Possesses excellent written, oral and other communication skills
- Proficient or prior experience in REVIT and aptitude to learn new software such as Archicad, Sketch Up, Rhino, Grasshopper, Lady bug, Sefaira, Equest, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Roles & Responsibilities
Emerging Professional I has the following responsibility for projects:
- Gain general experience and knowledge within their respective discipline
- Engage in collaborative design/production and assist project team with various aspects of projects
- Assist in the development of the project documents, assist in procuring permits, and construction administration.
- Maintain all required learning institution documentation, reports, journals, portfolios, etc.
