Madison Meadows Middle School

A 21st Century Classroom Addition

Madison Meadows project consisted of a new 43,000 SF building that replaced two existing buildings and the renovation of one existing building. The program included an Administration, Media Center, Art Room, Design Labs, Science Classrooms, an outdoor Science Yard, a Special Education Suite, an outdoor classroom on the second floor, and 11 regular classrooms.  The Madison Meadows Middle School is an International Baccalaureate school and the client wanted the design to represent the ideals and culture of the educational program.  The IB program uses a global curriculum and encourages students to become empathetic, self-motivated learners who will contribute to the world positively.  They believe in creating learning communities where students can fully engage and not feel inhibited by barriers. This project consists of a Middle School replacement classroom, administration and media center building on an existing campus. Classroom suites include rooms with a 24’ wide operable glass partition to allows the room to be opened to a large collaboration space.
