Saravanan Bala, AIA, NCARB, LEED-AP

Originally from India, Saravanan Bala earned a Master's Degree in Architecture with specialization in sustainable design from ASU, and started with Orcutt | Winslow as an intern architect in 2006.  He has grown with the firm as a project manager and team leader, and currently leads the education studio as a thought leader in education, learning and pedagogy. With over 17 years of experience, Saravanan is a global architect with a strong background in design theory and philosophy, and he seeks to deliver conceptually strong, environmentally sensitive, well-grounded projects. He is an NCARB certificate holder and registered in the state of Arizona, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Saravanan is also a sustainability thought leader and specializes in Zero Net Energy Schools. He is currently working with several clients on district-wide ZNE master planning.
