Charette Process

The Charrette, a term borrowed from our architectural history, is an intensive brainstorming session where issues are addressed, analyzed, prioritized and synthesized to bring clarity and understanding of the primary elements related to the case.

The “brainstorming” approach which you and your team of experts use in connection with providing assistance to commercial litigators simply is the best I have ever seen.Attorney, Jacksonville, FL

This process is a cost-effective method to assist attorneys and their clients in evaluating the myriad issues surrounding a design or construction problem and in determining the most appropriate path to resolution. The Charrette is an intensive work session staffed by experienced C.A.S.E. members to untangle the complex web of issues in order to develop the best possible resolution alternative based on the strengths and weaknesses of the case.

The primary result of the Charrette is to provide the client with the ability to make a prudent business decision of whether to pay, negotiate, mediate, arbitrate or go to court.

Consulting & Expert Reports

The C.A.S.E. team has worked with numerous attorneys over the past two decades. Our experts have made valuable contributions helping attorneys and clients with:

  • Identifying the “Real Problems”
  • Documenting the Causes and Responsible Parties
  • Developing a Clear, Precise and Factual History
  • Creating a Powerful Graphic Presentation
  • Preparing Expert Written Reports
  • Providing Expert Witness Testimony

Graphics Support

Construction disputes typically contain complex facts that are difficult to clearly communicate or understand through documentary evidence and live testimony alone. C.A.S.E. uses visual presentation tools to help our clients make the best presentations of their cases.

These presentation elements may include timeline charts, cut-away perspectives, 2D drawings, 3D models, photography, sketches and other media. They provide a means to simplify and illustrate abstract, complex and extensive facts and opinions in a concise and comprehensible way that can be understood by the intended audience.
