A week of celebrating! Villa de Paz also broke ground this week.

The Pendergast Elementary School District’s mission is to be a high-performing, collaborative community preparing students to compete in a globally connected society. To realize this mission, Villa de Paz Elementary teachers in grades 1-8 have embraced a team-based instructional approach, similar to one developed by the ASU Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College’s Next Education Workforce.

The Orcutt | Winslow team incorporated ideas that support modern learning by renovating specific areas as defined through community visioning and school user’s experience into spaces that provide next generation learning opportunities integrated with the signature focus areas being implemented at Villa De Paz and are consistent with the district’s strategic plan and “portrait of graduate”.
