Creating a dynamic learning environment that promotes lifelong growth

Legacy Pointe at UCF

Orlando, FL

Through state-of-the-art wellness facilities, active engagement in university activities, and meaningful intergenerational connections, the goal is to establish a vibrant and inclusive multi-generational university campus.

The master plan for the expansive 58-acre site is divided into two distinct areas: the Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and a separate parcel for 55+ single-family homes. Within the CCRC, a comprehensive range of services is offered, including assisted living with 48 units, memory care with 32 units, skilled nursing with 48 units, and dedicated healthcare therapy and rehabilitation facilities. Additionally, the CCRC provides 126 independent living residences, designed to offer residents a high degree of autonomy and comfort. A variety of amenities and outdoor spaces have been thoughtfully incorporated to enrich residents’ daily lives and foster a sense of community.

Adjacent to the CCRC, a charming cottage neighborhood will be established, consisting of 32 single-story villa homes. Ranging from 1,300 to 1,500 square feet, these thoughtfully designed homes provide residents with ample living space and comfort. Each villa includes a one-car garage, ensuring convenience and ease of access.

By intertwining the worlds of academia, wellness, and intergenerational connections, this visionary project created a thriving community where seniors can continue their journey of learning and personal growth. Through mentorship programs, shared experiences, and purposeful design, residents will find fulfillment, inspiration, and a true sense of belonging.
