Student Housing

More Than a Home, An Experience

Student Housing for the Whole Student

A student’s experience on campus; coffee with a friend, midnight movie on the lawn, waiting for a dryer to finish your laundry are as impactful on a student’s growth as the content of their studies. Student housing provides the backdrop for these experiences. Our designers understand how to find economy in the room layouts to focus more resources on the student experience. Students seek campus’ that integrate study and learning, play and relaxation, community and private spaces in a way that supports their growth and independence.

Bringing Learning Home

A student’s first reason for being on campus is to get a high-quality education. Learning does not need to stop at the classroom door. Residence communities bring learning opportunities to the student. Some are formed around field-of-study or interest group, creating clubs, night lecture opportunities, study groups and simply proximity to peers. These communities enhance the student experience and provide support in an environment that can otherwise be overwhelming.

Not Your Father’s Dorm
Today’s residence halls provide a more balanced and nuanced experience than the traditional dorm room. Bedrooms come in many varieties, including singles, double, semi-suites, suites, and apartments. No matter the arrangement, the focus is on providing privacy where it counts and ample community space everywhere else. Even bathrooms down the hall commonly have individual units. Each hall has its own character in a campus, where it is part of a learning community or the one hall with a fully equipped gaming room. The focus is on providing variety to suit the needs of your diverse student body.
